Bentam advises the finance parties in Technique Solaire €224 million financing.
Bentam advised Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC and Bpifrance as mandated lead arrangers and the finance parties in the project financing of a portfolio of 300 photovoltaic plants of an aggregate capacity of 164.6 MWp.

The Technique Solaire group, an independent producer of renewable energies serving the agricultural transition, has arranged senior debt financing of €224 million with its partners Bpifrance and Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC. This financing will enable Technique Solaire to consolidate its portfolio of solar photovoltaic installations, building nearly 300 greenfield projects with a total capacity of 162.6 MWp. This is the largest senior debt issue in the Group's history.
The projects span all metropolitan regions and will be built by the end of 2026. They include various types of installations, such as agricultural sheds, climate shelters, aviaries, parking lot shades, logistics platforms, greenhouses, ground-based parks and a floating park.
This debt financing supports Technique Solaire's growth strategy and is in line with its ambition to mobilize 4 billion euros by 2030 to reach 4GWp in photovoltaic power generation capacity (compared with +500MWp currently in operation). The Group currently has 346 MWp of capacity under construction in France, India, the Netherlands and Spain.
As part of this transaction, Technique Solaire, Bpifrance, Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC and other stakeholders are reinforcing their commitment to the development of renewable energies by making a donation of 75,000 euros to Synergie Renouvelable. This charitable endowment fund positions itself as a bridge between the world of NGOs and that of business. The donation will provide financial and technical support to NGOs with humanitarian projects promoting access to energy around the world.
By 2023, Technique Solaire has raised 200 million euros in equity capital to continue implementing its strategy. By 2023, the Group's electricity production will be equivalent to the local consumption (France, India, Netherlands) of more than 1,700,000 people, saving 229,395 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
For this transaction, the Bentam team comprised Guillaume Ansaloni and Ivanna Jhayya, with support from Alexandra Guilluy (public law).
