Bentam advises CIC Corporate & Institutional Banking on the financing of a 41 MW wind farm in the Hauts-de-France region.
Bentam advises the finance parties in connection with the financing of the Vallée de Joie wind farm (41 MW) acquired by Encavis in the Hauts-de-France region.
Bentam advised CIC Corporate & Institutional Banking as lender on the project financing of the Vallée de Joie wind farm, a 41 MW onshore wind project located in the municipality of Mézières-sur-Oise, in the Aisne department (Hauts-de-France region), approximately 100 kilometres south of Lille.
The wind farm, acquired by Encavis from ENERTRAG SE, comprises seven Nordex wind turbines (six N163 units and one N149 unit), each with a capacity of 5.9 MW. The expected annual electricity production is approximately 98 GWh, with power purchase secured through a feed-in tariff with a term of 20 years. The wind farm is scheduled to be connected to the grid by the end of 2026.
With this acquisition, Encavis, one of Europe's leading producers of renewable electricity with a total installed capacity of approximately 4 GW across 13 European countries, expands its onshore wind portfolio in France to 250 MW.
The finance parties were assisted on this transaction by the Bentam team composed of Guillaume Ansaloni, partner, Alexandra Guilluy, counsel, Ivanna Jhayya, senior associate, Coline Marchau and Véréna Derkaoui, associates.
