Bentam on Watt & Co Ingénierie's equity fundraising.

Bentam assisted Watt & Co Ingénierie in the context of its equity fundraising with Andera Smart Infra.

The investment consists of the acquisition of a minority stake, by way of issuance of securities, in Watt&Co Ingénierie, a developer, builder and operator of renewable energy projects, mainly photovoltaic and hydroelectric.

Watt&Co Ingénierie already operates more than 30 MW of power plants and plans to build several hundred additional MW in the coming years. The team of 15 people is based in Mazamet in the Tarn region of France and has a strong local presence.

The funds will be used to accelerate the growth of the group's project portfolio and to finance the construction of its power plants.

Bentam’s team, composed of Guillaume Ansaloni (partner), Marie-Cécile Rieu (partner) and Benoît Balacey (associate), has assisted Watt&Co Ingénierie for the legal structuring and negotiation of the transaction.
