Bentam on the financing of the acquisition of Guadeloupe Services Automobiles and Prestige Distribution Karaib.
Bentam advised BRED Banque Populaire and Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel de la Martinique et de la Guyane on the financing of the acquisition of Guadeloupe Services Automobiles and Prestige Distribution Karaib by Citadelle.
The Citadelle group, a car and motorbike distributor in French overseas departments and territories, has acquired Guadeloupe Services Automobiles, a Volkswagen distributor in Guadeloupe, and Prestige Distribution Karaib, a Porsche distributor in Guadeloupe and Martinique.
The acquisition was partly financed by a facility granted by BRED Banque Populaire and Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel de la Martinique et de la Guyane. Bentam acted as legal counsel to the lenders, advising them on the drafting and negotiation of the finance documentation.
