The financing is backed by a portfolio of solar assets under development located in France and benefiting from a minimum of a signed lease agreement, with a total capacity of 293 MWp. In 2023, the portfolio of assets could be extended to other geographical areas in which CVE operates.

This 5-year bullet bond will be fully released at a very early stage of project development, and its size is based on the prospective value of the portfolio financed once it has reached the "Ready to Build" (RTB) stage.

This financing aims to support the CVE group in its development activities over the next few years in France and abroad. This innovative line of credit will allow CVE to optimize its cash flow by covering its future development expenses over the next 5 years and to gain in reactivity and competitiveness, particularly in the event of buyout opportunities for plants whose development is not yet complete (pre-RTB stage).

The Bentam team, who advised EDRAM, was composed of Guillaume Ansaloni, Marie-Cécile Rieu and Ivanna Jhayya.
